NOTE
I am not a specialized developer, and I don't have the time to maintain the project. Don't expect anything amazing to come of this. This project is the result of work by people far more talented than I am. Credits are at the bottom of the page.
Recompiled games
So far, I have recompiled the following games: Backstab
AndroidRecomp
AndroidRecomp is a profile-driven porting framework for native ARMv7 Android games. It prepares a minimal Android-like runtime, maps original ELF shared objects into a guest address space, executes ARM code through dynamic recompilation, and lets each game profile provide the JNI, filesystem, graphics, audio, input, and lifecycle behavior required by that title.
AndroidRecomp is not a full Android emulator, an APK compatibility layer, or a universal one-click porting tool. Every game requires a dedicated profile and may need engine-specific fixes.
Backend source modes
The default backend is pinned to OptiJuegos/PvZ2Native commit 15dbe5c2dee7b4a73f0803127bb8bad9a32c8406. Source resolution follows this order:
- complete source tree in
vendor/PvZ2Native; - pinned ZIP in
vendor/PvZ2Native-15dbe5c2dee7b4a73f0803127bb8bad9a32c8406.zip; - local cache under the game project;
- pinned download from the original repository.
Import a local checkout or GitHub source ZIP with:
import-pvz2native.bat "C:\Path\To\PvZ2Native-or-source.zip"
The complete unmodified upstream snapshot is not physically embedded in this generated package because it could not be materialized in the packaging environment. The importer and vendored-source runtime path are fully included, so the source can be added locally before the private repository is published.

Quick start
Place AndroidRecomp and a game repository next to each other:
Projects/
├── AndroidRecomp/
└── BackstabRecomp/
From the game repository:
bootstrap.bat
build-msvc.bat
The equivalent direct command is:
python -m androidrecomp.cli prepare \
--profile ../BackstabRecomp/profile.json \
--project-root ../BackstabRecomp
Scope
Reusable runtime preparation, workspace management, profile loading, common CMake compatibility, and generic documentation belong in AndroidRecomp. Game symbols, package names, JNI methods, asset aliases, input regions, and engine patches belong in game-profile repositories.
Project status
AndroidRecomp is an early developer framework. BackstabRecomp is the first profile. APIs may change until additional game profiles validate the abstractions.
Legal
AndroidRecomp contains no commercial game executable, APK, OBB, game asset, encryption key, account token, or license-bypass component. Read.
