About the project
Official project information
Bloody Roar Extreme - XBE Recomp
An unofficial native PC port of the original Xbox version of Bloody Roar Extreme (Bloody Roar: Primal Fury), with enhanced graphics options, Vulkan backend, high-resolution rendering, and controller support.
This port was created using the Xbox XBE Recomp toolchain.
[!TIP] Why Native PC Recompilation? Currently, this native port is one of the only ways to play Bloody Roar Extreme with complete stability and peak performance on modern PCs. Traditional emulation suffers from poor performance due to original game engine quirks. By recompiling the game natively for Windows x64 with Vulkan, it completely bypasses emulation overhead—delivering a rock-solid 60 FPS, ultra-low input latency, and pristine high-resolution rendering.
[!NOTE] This project does not contain any copyrighted game assets or proprietary code. You must provide the files or disc image from your own legally acquired copy of the game to install or build.
[!IMPORTANT] In-Game Configuration Menu (F1):
